Canyoning consist to go down a river sliding, jumping, abseiling, swimming, etc. Ready for good fun ? The Verdon Gorge, located in the southern Alps and Provence, is one of the best area in France.
What is Canyoning ?
If you like water and discover sites shaped by water erosion, the best way is to go canyoning !
You will progress in narrow gorges and often very vertical ! Jumping, sliding and rappelling will allow you to progress through this river.
You will also be likely to swim in large basins of turquoise water.
In summer, this activity allows you to cool off while having a big dose of fun !!

Verdon Gorge and Castellane area is very famous in France for outdoor activities, especially canyoning !
In the hinterland of nice and cannes you will find many canyons with difficulty and varied length.
We mainly propose three canyons that correspond to three types of audience.
- Classic canyoning "Le Haut Jabron", close to Castellane : the best way to discover the canyoning with your family in the Verdon Gorge.
- Half day sporty canyoning "Saint Auban" : the most complete with jumps, slides, zipline, etc.
- Day trip very sporty "Riolan" : one of the most magnificent canyon in France !!
